Want to start your own business later in life or in a regional area? Our Entrepreneurship Facilitators provide free and practical assistance to support and encourage individuals to start a business as a way of creating their own job.
If you’re looking to start your own business, your business could benefit from the support of a free Entrepreneurship Facilitator – they’re funded by the Australian Government to help deliver successful business startups from mature-aged Australians and in regional areas. Your Facilitator will work with you to develop your idea into a business by providing free mentoring, business support and referrals – particularly in regional areas. We currently have facilitators in these locations:
Our facilitators will provide individuals and community organisations with advice about starting and running a successful business.
You can benefit from interactive engagements like workshops and networking events that our facilitators will connect you with. In addition to information and advice, they can ease the isolation that many new business owners can feel.
Our facilitators can link you to appropriate services that could help with starting and running your business, including New Business Assistance with NEIS (New Enterprise Incentive Scheme).
The mentoring from an Entrepreneurship Facilitator is free of charge and, although they may suggest some services that it may be sensible to spend money on, it’s obligation-free.
You can talk through the pros and cons of any decision with your Entrepreneurship Facilitator and they’ll advise you with your personal and business circumstances in mind.
What's the cost?
We deliver this service for free to businesses on behalf of the Australian Government.
